ABOUT ME . . . . . . .
I am a 1997 graduate of Montgomery County R-II High School. As a past student of Montgomery County I take great pride in being in my home high school to educate students and work with the community that did so much for me as a student. In December of 2001 I earned a Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts through Lincoln University in Jefferson City. Upon graduation I worked as a Graphic Designer for a local Photographer. After 4 years of working with the photographer I worked with the Division of Youth Services as a Youth Specialist. This opportunity was a life changing experience that solidified the dream that I had while in high school to be a teacher, mentor, and coach. In the Fall of 2008 there was an opening at Montgomery County R-II for a part time Science/Math Teacher. Through the American Board of Teacher Excellence I received a Certificate to teach in the State of Missouri for General Science 6-12 grades in the Spring of 2009 and was approved by the DESE in the same year. During the summer of 2014 I received a certificate to also teach High School Biology/Anatomy.
